Annual Retiree Spring Luncheon at Villa Barone

On the afternoon of May 7, 2015, hundreds of Local 79 retirees gathered at Villa Barone in the Bronx for Local 79’s festive annual Spring Retiree Luncheon.  The four-hour event featured food, drink, dancing, and prizes—ranging from food baskets to high-end electronic goods—that were raffled off to the lucky winners. The event is one of many sponsored by Local 79 to recognize retirees for the numerous contributions they have made over the years to ensure the continued strength and vitality of the Local.

Retiree Outing: Renault Winery & Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City

All attendees will spend approximately two hours at the Renault Winery, where they will be served an Italian-style family lunch and will get a tour of the winery. After, the bus will proceed directly to Atlantic city. Please note: This will be a longer day than usual and you will be returning home later than is customarily the case on these trips. Pick up sites are as follows: Brooklyn (92nd Street and 7th Avenue) Staten Island (Exit 4 off of 440 Arthur Kill Road) Queens (Queens Center Mall) Bronx (Villa Barone Manor 737 Throgs Neck Expressway)
