Candidates seeking the endorsement of the Mason Tenders’ District Council Political Action Committee(PAC) should contact the PAC directly at 212-452-9552, or contact any officer of Laborers’ Local 79 for forwarding to the PAC.
Candidates who contact the PAC will generally be asked to meet with staff in person. In the case of widely contested races, a formal interview process may be necessary. The staff and/or interview committee will then make a recommendation to the PAC Board. Should the PAC Board approve, their recommendation is then sent to the Executive Board of the Mason Tenders’ District Council of Greater New York & Long Island for ratification or rejection.
