CLARIFICATION ON OSHA REQUIREMENTS!!

ATTENTION LOCAL 79 MEMBERS:

YOU DO NOT NEED A 30-HOUR OSHA!!

Local Law 196 requires by March 1, 2018 EITHER:
A 10-Hour OSHA OR
A 30-Hour OSHA

Then by December 1, 2018 EITHER:
A 10-Hour OSHA and 20 Hours of additional
training specified by the Dept. of Buildings OR
A 30-Hour OSHA OR
Completion of an apprenticeship program

Then by May 1, 2019 EITHER:
An OSHA 10, the additional 20 hours, plus
another 10-25 hours of training specified by
the Department OR

An OSHA 30 plus 10-25 additional hours of
training specified by the Department OR
Completion of an apprenticeship program.
