The next date for open recruitment for Local 79’s apprenticeship program is June 7th at 9:00 am Sharp!!  Information about apprenticeship, the requirements, and how the recruitment process is carried out is available through the New York State Department of Labor and through the Local 79 and the Mason Tenders’ Training Fund websites.

What: Join members of Local 79 to help clean up Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens. When: Sunday, June 9, 2019 –  Breakfast at 8:15 am. Cleanup project begins after breakfast. Lunch served after the cleanup is finished. Where: Take the #7 train to Mets – Willets Point station. Walk down the boardwalk and meet at the Passerelle Circle at the entrance to the park.
