Retiree Outing |Aqueduct Race Track | Friday, September 26, 2025 at 12:00 pm Aqueduct Race Track is located at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd | Queens, NY 11420 What’s included: Each person will receive admission into the Aqueduct Race Track, a buffet lunch, refreshments, raffles and race day program. Re-registration for all members to maintain their position on Local 79’s Job Referral list. Dates for re-registration are October 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7. Hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Please call the Job Administration Dept. 212-465-7915, 7918, 7919, or 7969.

In observance of Columbus Day, Local 79 offices will be closed all day.

Retiree Outing to Mount Airy Casino, PA. Pick up at 8:00 am at the following spots: Brooklyn (92nd Street and 7th Avenue); Staten Island (Exit 4 off of 440 Arthur Kill Road); Queens (Queens Center Mall); Bronx (Villa Barone Manor, 737 Throggs Neck Expressway). We will spend approximately 2 hours at the OUtlets/Crossings and then 4 hours at  the casino. Please keep this in mind when reserving your spot. You must RSVP for this outing. In observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, Local 79 offices will close at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 and will be closed all day on Thursday & Friday, November 27 & 28, 2025.

Retiree Holiday party being held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Russo’s on the Bay 162-45 Crossbay Blvd., Howard Beach, NY 11414 Time: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. *Please come out and join us for an afternoon of fun, food, dancing, and raffle prizes.
