Local 79 members in Staten Island gave back to their community at the 15th Annual Graniteville Quarry clean-up at Mariners Harbor. Members planted 1500 Daffodil bulbs, 100 Echinacea and purple cone flower perineal, as well as replaced bark chips along the paths and did general clean up.Local 79 organizer Mike Robles said, “I would like to thank all the members that came out on a Saturday morning to help with the clean-up and beautifying of the Graniteville Quarry park.”
Local 79 members are proud participants in their communities and look forward to volunteering again in the future.
