Politicians are allowing powerful developers to use 421a tax breaks to increase their profit. Local 79 will be demanding that developers taking advantage of these tax breaks pay union wages to the construction workers building these projects. All members attending will receive their Mandatory Participation credit and/or $25 and shirt & hat. Breakfast & lunch will be provided. When - Tuesday June 17th. Bus leaves at 6:30am and will return at approximately 6pm. Where – The bus will depart from outside Local 79’s office at 520 8th Ave, proceed to Albany so members can meet with elected officials, then return to 520 8th Avenue.
