Election Day Volunteers Needed

Local 79 is encouraging its members to assist with the reelection of Governor Cuomo, Attorney General Schneiderman, and Controller DiNapoli on Tuesday, November 4. Members can fulfill their yearly mandatory participation day by assisting with the reelection effort, Please report after work to either Painters DC 9 at 45 West 14th Street in Manhattan, where members can sign in with Local 79 Political Director Mike McGuire, or to the Painters DC 9 Training Fund at 45-15 36th Street in Long Island City, where members can sign in with Organizer Steve Andujar. All participants will receive Laborers’ t-shirts. And, regardless of whether you provide assistance tomorrow, don’t forget to vote for Andrew Cuomo, Eric Schneiderman, and Tom DiNapoli to keep our union brothers and sister working and to make our union stronger!
