Join the Annual May Day Rally!

On May 1, 2015, Local 79 members will join thousands of workers and community activists  outside billionaire Walmart owner Alice Walton's home on the corner of 60th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue. Mike McGuire, director of the Mason Tenders' District Council Political Action Committee, was interviewed about the scaffold safety law by Liz Benjamin on "Capital Tonight," a program that airs five nights a week in Albany, NY. Free Hammer and Hammer Holder Available for All Local 79 Members

All Local 79 members in good standing are encouraged to come and pick up a free specially designed hammer and hammer holder from Local 79's Dues Department (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. ) The hammers have Local 79 wood-burned into their handles and the leather hammer holders have Local 79's logo embossed on them. .

Workshop on New Immigration Policies at Local 79
