A Message from the Mason Tenders’ Training Fund:
Unfortunately, under the requirements of the Governor’s Executive Order, it would seem that the Training Fund is obligated to comply with the 100% staff reduction mandate in the Order, effectively closing the Long Island City facility. Office Status Update
After carefully considering all the factors and the rapidly changing situation in NYC around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Executive Board has decided to close the offices until further notice. All phones will be forwarded and answered. All Business Agents and Organizers will remain in the field and available as long as job-sites remain open. New Union Hall Opens at 131 W 33rd Street, 7th Floor
Local 79's new Class A office space will have a limited opening Monday, January 26th on the 7th floor of 131 W 33rd St. You can come pick up checks from the Grievance department, but dues can be paid online only at elocal.local79.org for now. Business Manager Mike Prohaska opened proceedings and thanked all members for their continued dedication to our union and the entire labor movement.
