Today, March 27, 2020, Governor Cuomo directed all non-essential construction sites to close, joining Local 79 in prioritizing the safety and health of our members and our families.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) The membership meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2020 has been cancelled. Office Status Update

After carefully considering all the factors and the rapidly changing situation in NYC around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Executive Board has decided to close the offices until further notice.

All phones will be forwarded and answered. All Business Agents and Organizers will remain in the field and available as long as job-sites remain open. Arrangements have been made for the office staff to work from home for the time being.
